Coharyn Impact — Privacy Policy

The short version

Coharyn Impact runs entirely inside your IDE. We do not collect, receive, store or transmit your source code, your project data, your assessments, or any telemetry. The plugin makes no network connections.

What the plugin processes (locally only)

To perform change-impact analysis, the plugin reads, in memory, on your machine: project source files, version-control diff contents, Spring configuration files and IDE indexes. Assessment results are held in IDE memory and are written to disk only when you explicitly export a Change Pack to a location you choose. None of this data is available to us.

What we never do

• No analytics, telemetry, crash reporting or usage tracking.
• No transmission of code, identifiers or metadata to Coharyn, mAIb or any third party (including AI/LLM providers — the plugin uses no LLM).
• No hidden network calls. This is verifiable: the plugin ships with no network code and no third-party network libraries.

Licensing data (processed by JetBrains, not by us)

Purchases, trials and license validation are handled by JetBrains Marketplace under JetBrains' own terms and privacy policy. The plugin reads the local license confirmation issued by your IDE to decide whether Pro features are enabled; it does not send anything anywhere. We receive from JetBrains only the sales reporting JetBrains provides to vendors (e.g. license type, country, order id) — not your code and not your IDE contents.

Data subject rights

Since the plugin gives us no personal data, there is nothing for us to access, rectify or erase from plugin usage. For questions or rights requests regarding purchase-related data we receive from JetBrains, contact support@coharyn.com.

Changes

We will update this policy if the plugin's data behaviour ever changes; any future optional feature involving data transmission would be strictly opt-in and clearly disclosed before activation.
